  • Listing tags and search rules

Tags and titles help buyers who search find your listing. Use a clear title and only tags that describe what you’re selling. Repeated, misspelled or unrelated tags don’t raise your ranking, and our team can ask you to fix or remove listings that use them.

How tags and titles are used

    • Search: when a buyer searches on a category page, listings are matched on the title, tags and description. Close misspellings still match, so you don’t need to add misspelled versions.
    • Recommended order: the title counts when it contains words buyers often search for in that game. Tags don’t count at all. See How offer ranking works.

Currency, top-up and gift card titles are created for you, so these rules mostly matter for accounts, items and keys.

    Limits the sell form checks

    Field Limit
    Title 3 to 200 characters
Description 10 to 5,000 characters of text
Tags Up to 20 tags, each up to 30 characters
Tag characters Letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes only

Links to other websites are removed from descriptions when you save.

    What counts as tag abuse

    Don’t Example
Use symbols or decorations in titles xX_SweetAccount_Xx, CHEAP G-OLD!!!!
Swap letters for numbers or misspell on purpose g0ld, acc0unt, R4r3
Repeat the same word GP GP GP GP CHEAP CHEAP
Add games, platforms or items you aren’t selling CS2 or Fortnite tags on a Valorant account

    What good looks like

    Instead of Write
CHEAP_G-OLD!!!! GP GP GP FAST FAST OSRS Gold, Fast Delivery
xX_R4r3 Fortnite Acc0unt_Xx Fortnite Account with Rare Skins
Valorant Account CS2 Fortnite Roblox Cheap Valorant Account with Premium Skins
BEST BEST BEST CHEAPEST ACCOUNT WOW High-Level Account with Instant Delivery
    • Keep the title short and readable, with the main product named once.
    • Spell game and item names correctly.
    • Add only tags that describe the game, platform, item type or offer.
    • Use emoji sparingly, if at all.

What happens if you don’t follow these rules

Problem What our team can do
Minor tag misuse Flag the listing and ask you to fix it, or send a warning.
Repeated tag abuse Remove or pause listings, or restrict your account.
Deliberate, repeated manipulation Ban your account.
Write for buyers, not for the search box. Name the game and what the buyer gets, in the words a buyer would type.

No. Tags don’t affect the Recommended order. They only help your listing match a buyer’s search, and only when they describe the offer.

No. Tags and titles must describe what you’re selling. Unrelated names are tag abuse.

  • Keeping listings active

Listings that aren’t instant-delivery pause after 30 days unless you confirm their stock. We warn you 3 days before. Turning a listing on, updating its quantity or saving an edit confirms the stock and restarts the 30 days. Instant-delivery accounts, keys and gift cards never pause this way.

    Which listings pause

    Listing Pauses after 30 days?
    Items, currency and top-ups Yes
    Accounts with manual delivery Yes
    Accounts with instant delivery No
    Keys and gift cards No

The 30 days start when you publish the listing and restart each time you confirm its stock. This keeps listings limited to stock you really have.

    Warnings and the pause

    • 3 days before: we tell you in the app and by email which listings will pause.
    • After 30 days: the listing is paused and hidden from buyers. We tell you in the app and by email.

Your listings table shows the time left in the Expires column. A paused listing keeps its page, but buyers see that it’s unavailable.

    How to confirm your stock

Any of these restarts the 30 days and puts a paused listing back on sale:

    • Turn the listing on in your listings table.
    • Change its quantity in your listings table.
    • Select several listings and use Status → Active, or Quantity for items, currency, top-ups and manual-delivery accounts.
    • Apply a bulk edit file that changes the listing.

Editing and saving a listing also confirms it and restarts the 30 days. If the listing is already paused, turn it on to put it back on sale.

    Open your listings

Filter your listings by Needs attention to see the ones that expired or are out of stock, then confirm them in one go.

Other reasons a listing is paused

    Out of stock

Items, currency and top-ups go inactive when their quantity reaches 0. Set a quantity above 0 to put them back on sale.

An account listing whose last account sold shows as Sold. Add accounts (instant delivery) or raise the quantity (manual delivery) to put it back on sale.

    Paused by PlayerBay staff

The listing shows Paused by PlayerBay staff. You can’t turn it back on yourself, and restocking doesn’t bring it back. Contact support if you have questions.

    Linked email not answered

Account listings must answer the Linked email question. An older listing that never answered it is paused until you do. Edit the listing, answer the question and save; you can then turn it back on.

Its stock wasn’t confirmed for 30 days. Turn it on or update its quantity to put it back on sale.

No. The listing and its page stay. It’s only hidden from buyers until you confirm the stock.

No. Only rows that change something are applied, so change the quantity or another value.

  • How to use Bulk Tools

Bulk Tools lets you work on many listings at once with a CSV or Excel file. You can add new listings, edit the listings you already have, or upload new login details and codes for instant-delivery listings. Each file covers one game and one category, and nothing changes until you publish or apply it.

    Where to find it

Open your seller dashboard and choose Bulk Tools. Pick one of three jobs: Add new listings, Edit existing listings or Update credentials.

    Open Bulk Tools

    Before you start

    • One game and category per file. Each category has its own columns and attribute options, so you pick both first.
    • Excel or CSV. The Excel file has dropdowns for delivery methods, attributes, units and Yes/No, plus a Valid Values sheet. The CSV comes in a zip with a valid-values file. Use Excel unless you need CSV.
    • Required columns end with *. Columns are matched by name, so you can reorder them or delete optional ones.
    • Decimals use a dot: 12.5, not 12,5.
    • Lists use a pipe: put several images, tags or attribute values in one cell, separated by |. For example: rare | fast.
    • Limits: up to 2,000 rows and 5 MB per file. Split bigger batches into several files.

    Add new listings

Add gift cards one at a time with the sell form. Bulk Tools can’t add new gift card listings yet.

    1. Choose the game and category.
    2. Select Download Excel template or Download CSV template. It has one example row; replace it or delete it.
    3. For accounts, items and keys, drop your images into the media tray. Then write each image’s file name in the images column, for example hero.png. You can also paste a full image URL.
    4. Upload your file and select Validate. Each row is marked ok, warning or error, with the problem written next to it.
    5. To fix errors, select Download fix file, correct the rows and upload it again.
    6. Select Publish. Valid rows become listings; rows with errors are skipped.
    7. For instant-delivery accounts and keys, select Attach credentials and upload the credentials file (see below).

Large batches finish in the background, so you can leave the page. You get a notification when the batch is done.

Publish each file once. Uploading the same file again as a new batch creates the same listings a second time.

    Edit existing listings

    1. Choose the game and category.
    2. Select Export Excel or Export CSV. The file is filled in with your current listings.
    3. Change what you need: price, stock, title, description, attributes, delivery times, tags or images.
    4. Upload the file. If you reference new image files by name, drop them in the tray too.
    5. Select Review changes. Each row shows what will change, from the old value to the new one.
    6. Select Apply changes.

    Rules for editing

    • Don’t change product_id. It’s how each row is matched to your listing.
    • Only changed rows are applied. Rows you leave as they are aren’t touched.
    • Deleting a row never deletes a listing. The listing just stays as it is.
    • The game and category can’t be changed here.
    • A blank cell clears that field for discount, tags and images. A blank delivery time or delivery method keeps the saved one.
    • Descriptions are exported as plain text. An unchanged description keeps its original formatting. An edited one is saved as plain paragraphs, without bold, italics or lists.

    What the export includes

    • Items, currency and top-ups: all your listings, including paused and out-of-stock ones, so you can restock them.
    • Accounts and keys: only listings that are still for sale. Sold and empty ones are left out.
    • Keys and gift cards: there’s no quantity column. Stock is the number of codes in the listing’s pool, so it changes only when you add codes or sell them.
    • Accounts: the quantity column is for manual-delivery accounts. For instant-delivery accounts it’s left blank and ignored, because their stock is the number of accounts in the listing.

Applying a changed row counts as confirming your stock. It restarts the listing’s 30-day stock clock and turns a paused listing back on if it has stock. Listings paused by our team or for an unanswered Linked email question stay paused. See Keeping listings active.

    Update credentials and codes

This job is only for instant-delivery accounts, keys and gift cards. Login details and codes never go in the listing file.

    1. Choose Update credentials, then the game and category.
    2. Select Export Excel or Export CSV. The file lists each listing’s product_id and title, with empty credential columns. Your current login details are never exported.
    3. Fill in the new values:
      • Accounts: one account per row, in the columns login and password (required), email_url, email_login, email_password, 2fa_login, 2fa_password and additional_info. Repeat the product_id on more rows to add several accounts to one listing. They’re added to the listing, and stock goes up by the number of new accounts. An account already in the listing is skipped. Files with the older credentials and notes columns still work.
      • Keys and gift cards: codes in license_key. Separate several codes with |. They’re added to the listing’s pool, and stock goes up by the number of codes.
    4. Upload the file, select Review, then Apply credentials.

Credentials are encrypted when they’re saved, and the uploaded file is deleted right after it’s processed.

After Add, the credentials file matches rows by the sku you used in your listing file; repeat the sku on more rows to put several accounts in one listing. In Update credentials, rows are matched by product_id.

An instant-delivery account published in bulk stays a Draft until you attach its login details. It goes live as soon as you do, so a buyer never receives an empty account.

    Filling in the columns

Your file’s Valid Values reference lists every column for your category. The common ones:

    Column What to enter
sku Add only. Your own unique label for the row, such as ROW-001.
product_id Edit only. Leave it as exported.
title, description The listing title and description. Currency and top-up titles are created for you.
    price Price in USD.
quantity Stock, for items, currency, top-ups and manual-delivery accounts (1 if left blank). Ignored for instant-delivery accounts.
    discount A whole-number percentage from 0 to 100.
    currency_amount and unit Currency only. For example, 5 and M for 5 million. Units: Unit, K, M, B, T, Q.
selected_amount Top-ups only. Pick the amount from the dropdown.
minimum_offer_quantity Items and currency. The smallest amount a buyer can order.
delivery_method Pick from the dropdown. For accounts, keys and gift cards, the automatic method means instant delivery.
delivery_time_online, delivery_time_offline Your guaranteed delivery time when you’re online and offline. The online time is required, except for instant-delivery listings.
images File names from the tray or image URLs, separated by |. Not used for currency and top-ups.
    tags Tags separated by |.
Attribute columns One column per attribute, named as on the sell form. Pick from the dropdown; yes/no attributes take Yes or No.
volume_discount_tiers Quantity discounts, such as Qty:5,Pct:1;Qty:10,Pct:2 for 1% off 5 or more and 2% off 10 or more.

    Images

    • From the tray: drop the file in the tray and write its file name in the images cell.
    • From a URL: paste a full https:// link. We copy the image to PlayerBay, so your listing doesn’t depend on another site.
    • Existing images (Edit): leave the exported links to keep them, or remove a link to take that image off.

A file name that isn’t in the tray, or a link we can’t download, is skipped with a warning. The row still goes through.

    Troubleshooting

    Problem Fix
A row doesn’t match a listing Its product_id was changed, or the listing is in another category. Export again and edit the new file.
A CSV row split into the wrong columns A value contains a comma. Use Excel, or type 270000 instead of 270,000.
A delivery method or attribute is refused The value isn’t in the allowed list. Use the dropdown or check Valid Values.
A yes/no attribute fails in Google Sheets Type the words Yes or No, not TRUE or FALSE.
An instant-delivery account is still a Draft Attach its login details with Attach credentials or Update credentials.
The file is too large Split it into files of up to 2,000 rows and 5 MB.

No. Bulk editing never deletes listings. To stop selling, set stock to 0 or pause the listing from your listings page.

No. Download a fresh template or export each time. Columns and attribute options change, and an old file may no longer match.

No. Login details and codes only go in the separate credentials file, which is encrypted and deleted after processing.

  • How to sell game keys and gift cards

Key and gift card listings sell from a pool of codes you add to the listing. When a buyer’s payment is confirmed, they get an unused code from your pool straight away, and the order is marked delivered for you. Your stock is the number of unsold codes, and these listings never expire.

    Create the listing

    1. Open the sell page and choose the game or platform.
    2. Choose the product type: keys or gift cards.
    3. Fill in the listing details, described below.
    4. Select Review listing, check it, then select Publish listing.
    Create a listing

    What each type asks for

    Keys Gift cards
Title You write it in Key Title (3 to 200 characters) Created for you
Value None Pick a Gift Card Denomination
Description Required, 10 to 5,000 characters Optional
Codes License Key, one per line Gift card codes, one per line
Photos Up to 10 Up to 10

In the description, say the region, the platform and how to activate the code. Answer the listing’s attributes too, such as region or platform, when the category asks for them.

    Your code pool

    • Enter one code per line. Duplicates are removed automatically.
    • Your stock is the number of unsold codes, so there’s no quantity to type.
    • To add, fix or remove codes, edit the listing. Codes already tied to orders aren’t shown and can’t be changed.
    • When the pool runs out, the listing stops selling until you add more codes.

Buyers only see a code after their payment is confirmed. Only add codes that are valid and unused.

    Region on gift cards

Gift cards only work in their region. Where the listing shows a region, buyers see it at checkout with a reminder to check it matches their account. Make sure the region you choose is the region the codes work in.

What happens when a code sells

    1. The buyer pays.
    2. Once the payment is confirmed, the buyer gets a code from your pool and the order is marked delivered. You don’t need to do anything.
    3. Buyer protection starts. The buyer marks the order received, or it completes on its own when protection ends.

Some card payments are held for a security review first. The code is delivered once the review clears.

If a buyer has a problem

Buyers can open a dispute with the reasons Code doesn’t work or Wrong region, as well as for an order not received. Respond within the time the order shows, with proof the code was valid, a refund offer or a replacement. See Disputes for sellers.

No. They aren’t paused for going 30 days without a stock confirmation, unlike items, currency and top-ups.

Yes. Paste as many lines as you need. To create many listings at once, use Bulk tools.

Denominations you already sell are marked Already listed. Add codes to that listing instead.

  • How to sell an account

Open the sell page, pick the game and the account category, then fill in four sections: About the listing, Price & stock, Photos and Delivery. Every account listing must answer the Linked email question. Choose instant delivery to have the login sent automatically, or manual delivery to send it in the order chat. One listing can hold one account or many identical ones, and each goes to one buyer. Review the listing, then publish it.

    Before you start

    • Your seller verification must be approved.
    • You must be able to hand over full access to the account, including the login for its email.
    • Have the login details, any backup codes and current screenshots ready. For several identical accounts, have each one’s details ready, or keep them in a spreadsheet.

    Create the listing

    1. Open the sell page and choose the game.
    2. Choose the product type and the account category.
    3. Fill in the four sections of Listing details, described below.
    4. Select Review listing to see the listing as buyers will.
    5. Select Publish listing.
    Sell an account

    About the listing

    • Account Title: 3 to 200 characters. Put the most important details first, such as rank, level or rare items.
    • Attributes: answer the questions for the game, like platform or region. Required ones must be answered to publish.
    • Account Inventory: for some games, select the items and content the account includes. Buyers see exactly what you select.
    • Description: 10 to 5,000 characters. Say exactly what the buyer gets, including limits such as a region lock or a linked console.

Don’t put contact details or links to other sites in the title or description.

    The Linked email question

Every account is sold with full email access. This question asks which email the buyer gets the login to:

    Answer What it means
The original email The email the account was registered with. You give the buyer its login.
A different email Not the email it was registered with. You give the buyer its login.
No email linked The buyer links their own email after purchase.

Buyers see your answer on the listing.

    Price & stock

Set the price for one account.

    • Instant delivery: the stock is the number of accounts you add in the Delivery section. There’s no quantity to type.
    • Manual delivery: set the Quantity: how many identical accounts you can deliver.

    Photos

Add up to 10 real, current screenshots of the account. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF are accepted, up to 16 MB each. The first photo is the main image; drag to reorder.

    Delivery

    Choose a Delivery Method:

    • Automatic (instant): add each account as its own card, with Account details (login and password, required), Email details and 2FA details (optional) and Additional info. Select Add another account for more, or Add several at once to paste rows from a spreadsheet. Each buyer receives one account the moment the payment is confirmed. You don’t set a delivery time.
    • Manual: you send the login details in the order chat after the buyer pays. Set a Guaranteed delivery time for when you’re online, and optionally one for when you’re offline.

For what to put in the login details, see Delivering an order.

    Drafts

A new listing is saved as you type, so you can finish it later on any device. Login details are never saved in a draft; you enter them again before publishing. A draft is deleted 30 days after its last save, or when you select Discard draft.

    After you publish

    • The listing stays on sale until its last account sells. Each sale takes one account, and a sold account can’t be changed. You can still edit the listing, and add, edit or remove accounts nobody has ordered.
    • A listing whose last account sold shows as Sold. Add accounts (instant delivery) or raise the quantity (manual delivery) to put it back on sale.
    • Manual-delivery listings pause if you don’t confirm them for 30 days. Instant-delivery listings don’t. See Keeping listings active.
    • Recovering an account after you sell it is never allowed. See the account listing rules.

Yes. If the accounts are identical, so the same title, description, attributes and photos are true of each one, add them all to one listing. If they differ, create one listing each, or upload many at once with Bulk tools.

No. Each order is for one account. A buyer who wants another places a new order.

The form lists what’s left to fix at the top and marks each section that needs work. Common causes are a required attribute or the Linked email question left unanswered.

Yes, duplicate it from your listings. The copy never includes the login details, so you enter the new account’s details.

  • How to sell items, currency and top-ups

Items, currency and top-ups are sold from stock. You set a price, how much you have and the smallest amount a buyer can order, then choose a delivery method and a guaranteed delivery time. After a sale you deliver in the game and mark the order as delivered.

    Create the listing

    1. Open the sell page and choose the game.
    2. Choose the product type: items, currency or top-ups.
    3. Fill in the sections of Listing details, described below.
    4. Select Review listing, check it, then select Publish listing.
    Create a listing

    What each type asks for

    Items Currency Top-ups
Title You write it (3 to 200 characters) Created for you Created for you
Price Per item Per unit of the currency Per top-up
Amount None None Pick one of the set Top-Up Amount options
    Volume discounts Optional Optional None
Photos Up to 10 None, a cover image is added None, a cover image is added

Every type needs a description of 10 to 5,000 characters. Say exactly what the buyer gets, and don’t add contact details or other sites.

    Price, stock and minimum order

    • Total Quantity Available: how much you have to sell right now.
    • Minimum Offer Quantity: the smallest amount a buyer can order. It must be 1 or more.
    • Volume Discounts: for items and currency, give a percentage off when a buyer orders at least a set amount.

When your stock reaches 0, the listing goes inactive. Raise the quantity again and it goes back on sale.

    Currency units

Each game’s currency is sold in a fixed unit, set by PlayerBay: a single coin, or thousands (K), millions (M) and so on. The form shows the unit next to the price, the stock and the minimum. For example, if the unit is M, a price of 0.50 is per million, and a stock of 200 means 200 million.

You can have one listing for each currency, amount and delivery method. To change your offer, update the listing you already have.

    Delivery

    Delivery method

Choose how you’ll hand the order over, from the methods the game offers, such as a trade in the game or the in-game mail. Buyers see the method on your listing.

At checkout, buyers fill in what you need to deliver, such as their character name or account ID. You see these details on the order page.

    Guaranteed delivery time

    Set two times:

    • When online: required. Buyers see it while you’re online.
    • When offline: optional. Buyers see it while you’re offline. If you leave it empty, they see your online time instead.

The time a buyer sees at checkout is the one the order keeps. If you don’t deliver within it, the buyer can cancel the order and get their money back.

Choose times you can always keep. A missed delivery time lets the buyer cancel, and late deliveries lower your offer ranking.

    After a sale

Deliver in the game, then select Mark as Delivered on the order. See Delivering an order.

Listings that aren’t instant-delivery pause after 30 days without a stock confirmation. See Keeping listings active.

No. PlayerBay sets the unit for each game, and every seller of that currency uses it.

Amounts you already sell are marked Already listed and can’t be picked again. Update that listing instead.

Yes. Select listings in your listings table and use Quantity, or use Bulk tools.

  • Delivering an order

Instant listings deliver themselves: the buyer gets the login details or code as soon as the payment is confirmed. For every other order, you deliver within your guaranteed delivery time, using the details the buyer gave at checkout, then select Mark as Delivered on the order. Keep the delivery in the order chat so there’s a record.

    Instant or manual

Delivery Used for What you do
Instant Accounts with an automatic delivery method, keys and gift cards Nothing. The buyer receives one of the accounts or codes you saved on the listing, and the order is marked delivered.
Manual Accounts with a manual delivery method, items, currency and top-ups Deliver within your guaranteed time, then select Mark as Delivered.
    Open your sales

Writing login details for instant delivery

For an instant account, each account is a card with the same sections. The buyer sees them the same way, with a copy button for each value.

    Section What to enter
Account details (required) Login: the username, email or ID used to sign in. Password: the current account password.
Email details Unless you answered No email linked: the email provider’s sign-in page (Provider URL), and the email’s Login and Password.
2FA details The Login and Password for the account’s two-factor method, if it has one.
Additional info Backup or recovery codes, security questions and answers, character name, any second password or PIN, and anything else the buyer needs for this account.

Use Notes for every buyer for steps every buyer should take, such as changing the password and email. Buyers see these notes with their account.

To add many accounts at once, select Add several at once and paste rows copied from a spreadsheet, one account per row, in this column order: login, password, email provider URL, email login, email password, 2FA login, 2FA password, additional info. A line like login:password also works. You see what will be added before anything is saved.

Accounts saved before these sections existed keep their text, and buyers see it as written. When you edit one, its text moves to Additional info so you can fill in the sections.

Check every line works before you publish. Login details are stored encrypted and shown to the buyer only after the payment is confirmed.

    Delivering a manual order

    1. Open the order from your sales. The timer shows how long you have left.
    2. Read the buyer’s delivery details on the order page, such as their character name or account ID. A password the buyer gave is hidden until you select the eye icon next to it.
    3. Deliver. For an account, send the login details in the order chat. For items, currency and top-ups, complete the trade or top-up in the game.
    4. Post proof in the order chat, such as a screenshot of the finished trade.
    5. Select Mark as Delivered.
If the order shows Order paused for review, don’t deliver or take any action until our team finishes the review.

    Keep delivery on PlayerBay

Send login details and proof only in the order chat. It’s the record our Dispute Team reviews if the buyer opens a dispute.

    After you deliver

After you deliver, the buyer checks the order and selects Mark as Received, or the order is marked received when the check ends. Protection then continues for the account’s warranty period, and your earnings become available when it ends. See When your earnings become available.

    If you can’t deliver

Before you deliver, you can select Cancel this order and give a reason. The buyer is refunded straight away: to their card if they paid by card, otherwise as a refund voucher. If your guaranteed delivery time passes, the buyer can cancel the order at any time, so cancel yourself rather than leave the order waiting.

Not the sold account. Accounts nobody has ordered can be edited or removed on the listing’s edit page. If a sold account doesn’t work, the buyer contacts you from the order page, and you can send new login details or another account from the same listing.

Ask them in the order chat before you deliver. Deliver only to the details the buyer confirms there.

Passwords buyers give at checkout are removed once the order is received, refunded or cancelled.

  • How offer ranking works

Category pages sort listings by Recommended unless the buyer picks another order. Each listing gets a score from three parts: your seller reputation, the quality of the offer, and a fair share of the page for each seller. Scores are recalculated every night, and a listing gets a fresh score as soon as you create or edit it.

    When ranking applies

Recommended is the default order on category pages. Buyers can switch to another order, such as Price: Low to High or Newest First, and then the score plays no part.

When a buyer types in a category page’s search box, results follow how well each listing matches the search, not the score. Your title, tags and description all count for that match.

    What makes up the score

    Part What it measures
Seller reputation Your track record as a seller. The largest part for accounts and items.
Offer quality The listing itself: delivery time, title and, for some product types, price. The largest part for currency, top-ups, keys and gift cards, where buyers compare the offer itself.
Fair share How many listings you already have in the same game.

A small random adjustment is added each time scores are calculated, so listings with close scores swap places from time to time.

    Seller reputation

Your reputation is the same for every listing you have. It’s built from:

    • Positive reviews: the share of your reviews that are positive.
    • Sales: how many orders you’ve completed. Recent sales count more than older ones.
    • On-time delivery: how many orders you delivered before the guaranteed delivery time ran out, over the last 90 days.
    • Cancellations: the share of your paid orders cancelled in the last 90 days. At 15% or more this part scores nothing.
    • Lost disputes: disputes decided against you in the last 90 days. Disputes that end in your favor don’t count against you.

The 90-day numbers are the same ones shown on your profile. With fewer than 10 orders in 90 days, they count as average.

Account sellers with enough account sales get one more signal: how many account disputes they lost, with extra weight on disputes opened days after delivery. These usually mean an account was recovered or banned after the sale.

New sellers with no completed sales start in the middle of the scale. Reviews our team has hidden don’t count.

    Offer quality

    • Delivery time: a shorter guaranteed delivery time scores higher, but only as far as you keep it: the points are multiplied by your 90-day on-time rate, so a fast time you often miss earns less than a slower time you keep. The longest delivery times earn nothing here. If you set different times for online and offline, the faster one counts. Instant delivery (accounts and keys with automatic delivery, and gift cards) gets the top score.
    • Title: titles that contain words buyers often search for in that game score higher.
    • Price (currency, keys and top-ups only): your price is compared with the cheapest like-for-like listing: the same game and the same options, such as server, region, platform or edition, and for top-ups the same amount. Accounts, items and gift cards aren’t ranked on price.

    Fair share

All your active listings in one game are counted together, across categories. Your oldest listing gets the full fair share, your second gets less, and your third and later listings get the least.

This keeps one seller from filling a page with many near-identical offers, so buyers see a mix of sellers.

    When scores update

    • Every listing is scored again each night with your latest reviews, sales and disputes.
    • A new active listing gets a score right away.
    • Saving an edit to an active listing scores it again right away.

    How to rank higher

    1. Deliver every order before the guaranteed delivery time.
    2. Set a delivery time you can keep. A fast time you miss costs more than a slower time you keep.
    3. Resolve problems with the buyer before they turn into a lost dispute.
    4. Write a clear title with the words buyers search for, such as the game, rank or item name.
    5. Keep fewer, better listings per game instead of many copies of the same offer.
    6. For currency, keys and top-ups, keep your price close to the cheapest offer with the same options.
    7. Avoid cancelling orders: cancellations lower your reputation for 90 days.
Tags, descriptions, images and your seller tier don’t change your Recommended score. Tags and descriptions still help buyers who search on a category page.

No. The price comparison uses your listed price, before any discount.

Saving an edit scores the listing again right away, using your current reputation and the listing’s new details. The small random adjustment is applied again too.

No. Until you complete your first sale, your reputation sits in the middle of the scale, and your first listing in each game gets the full fair share.

  • Categories our team reviews

Some games and services carry more risk of fraud and chargebacks, so our team reviews the sellers who list them. Once you’re verified you can list right away. Tell us which of these you sell when you apply for seller verification, or contact us if you’re already verified.

    How the review works

    1. Complete seller verification. Every seller needs it before listing in any category.
    2. On the Seller profile step, choose your Categories. If they include accounts, items or top-ups, the Enhanced security items question appears. Pick everything you plan to sell from the list below.
    3. You can list straight away. Our team reviews your choices and may ask you for more information, such as where your stock comes from.

Already verified and want to add one of these? Contact us, choose Selling and payouts, and tell us which items you want to sell.

If our team has questions about your listings in these categories, we’ll contact you. Listings that break the rules can be paused.

  • How buyer protection works

Every order is protected in two stages. After delivery you get a few days to check it and raise a dispute if something is wrong. Once the order is marked received, it stays protected for the period shown below, and our support team can open a dispute for you. The seller is paid only when protection ends.

    The two stages

    1. Delivered: check the order. Your order page shows the date next to Will be marked Received:. During this stage you raise a dispute yourself from the order page.
    2. Received: you selected Mark as Received, or the check time ran out. The order page shows Protected until and the date. If something goes wrong now, use Contact support and our team opens a dispute for you.
    3. Completed: protection has ended and the seller has been paid.

Orders of currency, items, top-ups and keys from some high-volume sellers complete as soon as they’re received. Your check works the same way, so raise any problem before it ends.

    What’s protected

If this happens What you do
The seller doesn’t deliver by the guaranteed delivery time Cancel the order for a refund. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.
What you received is wrong, incomplete or doesn’t work Raise a dispute from the order page. For instant-delivery accounts and gift cards, select Contact seller first. See How disputes work.
An account you bought is taken back after you received it Contact support from the order page while the order is protected. See Account warranty.

Before the order is delivered, the overdue cancel is the way to get your money back. If the seller replied but hasn’t delivered, select Contact seller and choose Order was not received.

Check everything before you select Mark as Received, and don’t let a seller rush you. Once you confirm, you can’t raise a dispute yourself.

    Where your money is

    1. You pay. The seller sees the order but can’t withdraw anything.
    2. The seller delivers, and your check starts.
    3. The order is marked received, and protection continues.
    4. Protection ends without a dispute. The order completes and the seller is paid.

While a dispute is open, the money stays on hold until it’s resolved. Stay on PlayerBay from payment to delivery: anything arranged off PlayerBay isn’t protected.

No. It ends your check, so you can’t raise a dispute yourself any more, but the order stays protected until the date shown on the order page. Contact support if something goes wrong in that time.

The order is complete. If something still goes wrong, contact support from the order page and our team will review it.

No. It comes with every order at no extra cost.

No. Orders placed before then have one protection period that starts at delivery, and you can raise a dispute yourself until it ends. Your order page always shows the right dates for your order.
