  • How to buy game keys and gift cards

Game keys and gift card codes come from a stock of codes the seller has already uploaded, so they’re delivered instantly. Pick the listing, check the region and platform match your account, and pay. Your code appears on the order page. If it doesn’t work or is for the wrong region, open a dispute while protection lasts.

    Before you buy

    • Region: most keys and gift cards only work in one region. Where the listing shows a region, check it matches your account’s region.
    • Platform: a key for one store or console won’t work on another. Check the platform in the listing.
    • Amount: for gift cards, choose the card value you want.

For gift cards where the listing shows a region, checkout repeats it with the note “Make sure the selected region matches your account’s region.”

    Buy and get your code

    1. Open the listing and click Buy now.
    2. Choose a payment method and pay.
    3. On the order page, click Reveal Key or Reveal Code.
    4. Copy the code and redeem it on the platform it’s for.
    5. When it works, click Mark as Received.

Your code stays on the order page, so you can open it again under Purchases.

Sometimes we run a quick safety check on a payment before releasing the code. The page tells you if this happens, and the code appears as soon as the check clears.

    If the code doesn’t work

    1. Take a screenshot of the error when you try to redeem it.
    2. On the order page, open a dispute.
    3. Choose Code doesn’t work if it’s invalid or already used, or Wrong region if it can’t be used in your region. Add the screenshot.

You can open a dispute while buyer protection lasts. It counts from delivery:

The seller has a set time to respond. See How disputes work.

    Go to Purchases

Only if checkout asks for them. The code itself appears on the order page as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Yes. Use Contact Seller on the order page.

  • How to buy top-ups

Open the game’s top-up page and choose the options that match your account, such as region and platform. Pick a delivery method if the page offers more than one, then choose an amount and click Buy now. At checkout, enter the player ID or login the method needs, then pay. The seller tops up your account within the delivery time shown.

    Choose your options

    1. Open the game and choose its top-up category.
    2. Pick the options shown at the top, such as region, server or platform. They must match your game account, or the top-up won’t work on your account.
    3. If the page shows a Delivery method row, pick a method. Prices and amounts change with the method you choose. Click Read more about delivery to see how each one works.
    4. Under Amount, choose how much you want. Popular marks the amounts most people buy.
    5. Check the offer’s price, delivery time and Delivery instructions, then click Buy now.

    Delivery methods

Method What you give the seller How it works
Login top up Your account login The seller signs in once and buys the top-up in the official in-game store on your account. Usually the cheapest option.
UID top up Your player ID (UID) The seller sends the top-up straight to that account. You never share your login.
Redeem code Nothing A code appears on your order page. You enter it in the game’s redeem or gift code section.
Donation Your username or player ID The seller sends you a friend request and gifts the top-up once the game allows it.

Your player ID is usually on your in-game profile or the game’s home screen. For every method, see Currency and item delivery methods.

    Check out

    1. Fill in Enter Delivery Details: your user ID, server ID, username or login, depending on the method.
    2. Read any notes above the payment methods.
    3. Choose a payment method and pay.

If you give your password for a login top up, it’s encrypted. Only the seller of that order and PlayerBay staff can open it, and only while the order is being delivered or disputed. It’s deleted when the order is received, refunded or cancelled. See The delivery details checkout asks for.

Change your password after a login top up is delivered.

    Game pass delivery (Roblox)

When the delivery method is a game pass, checkout shows two notes: “Game pass transfers take 5 days to process.” and “Roblox keeps a 30% fee on game pass sales, which isn’t covered by the seller.” See How to create a Roblox game pass.

    After you pay

The seller delivers within the delivery time and marks the order as delivered. Check the top-up arrived in your game, then click Mark as Received on the order page.

A processing fee is added at checkout. Some categories have their own fee, and the order summary shows it before you pay.

    Go to Purchases

Message the seller in the order chat right away, before they deliver.

Once the delivery time has passed, you can cancel the order for a refund. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.

  • How to buy items and in-game currency

Open the game’s currency or items page and pick an offer. Set the quantity at or above the seller’s minimum, then click Buy now. At checkout, enter the character or account details the seller needs and pay. The seller delivers within the delivery time shown on the offer, and you confirm the order when everything has arrived.

    Choose an offer

    1. Open the game and choose its currency or items category.
    2. If the page asks for options such as server, region or platform, pick the ones that match your game account.
    3. Compare offers. Each shows the price, the seller’s rating and the delivery time. On currency pages, the Offers list shows every seller; sort it by Lowest Price, Fastest Delivery or Most Stock.
    4. Read the seller’s Delivery instructions or description. It says how they deliver, such as an in-game trade or mail.

    Delivery time follows the seller

Sellers can set one delivery time for when they’re online and another for when they’re offline. The offer shows the time that applies right now. The time shown when you place the order is the one the seller must meet.

    Set the quantity

    • Min. qty. is the smallest amount the seller sells in one order. In stock is the most you can buy.
    • Currency prices are per unit, such as “/ K” for a thousand. The total updates as you change the amount.
    • Some offers have volume discounts. The offer shows the discount and the quantity that unlocks it.

    Check out

    1. Click Buy now. If you’re asked Are your game details correct?, check the options you picked and click Yes, continue to checkout.
    2. Fill in Enter Delivery Details, for example your character name or server. See The delivery details checkout asks for.
    3. Choose a method under Choose Payment Method and pay.

A processing fee is added at checkout. Some categories have their own fee, and the order summary shows it before you pay.

Checkout fills in details you entered on earlier orders. Check them before you pay, especially your character name and server.

    After you pay

The order page opens, and the order chat shows the details you gave the seller. The seller contacts you there if they need to meet you in game. Keep all messages in the order chat so our team can see them if there’s a problem.

    1. Follow the seller’s instructions in the chat.
    2. Check that you received the full amount in your game.
    3. Click Mark as Received.

If you don’t confirm, the order is marked received when your check time ends. Raise any problem before then. See How to receive your order.

    Go to Purchases

Once the delivery time has passed, you can cancel the order from the order page and get your money back. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.

Tell the seller in the order chat, or raise a dispute straight away and choose “Wrong amount delivered”. Screenshots of your balance before and after help.

  • How to buy an account

Open the game’s account listings, pick an account and check its Linked email, delivery time and warranty rows. Click Buy now, fill in any delivery details, choose a payment method and pay. When the account arrives, sign in, check it matches the listing, secure it, then click Mark as Received.

    Choose an account

    1. Open the game you play and choose its accounts category.
    2. Use the filters and sorting to narrow the list. See How to find the best offer.
    3. Open a listing and read the title, images and description in full.
    4. Check the rows on the right of the listing (listed below).
    Row What it tells you
Linked email banner Which email comes with the account: Original Email Access, Full Email Access or Link your own email. Click it for details. See What “Linked email” means.
Warranty How many days the account stays protected after you receive it.
Delivery time Instant means the login is shown on your order page as soon as you pay. A time means the seller delivers by hand within that time.

Free buyer protection depends on the game and category:

If you have a question about the account, click Ask Seller About This Product before you buy.

    Pay at checkout

    1. Click Buy now. You need to be signed in.
    2. If the seller needs details from you, fill in Enter Delivery Details.
    3. To add a code, click Have a discount code? If you have active vouchers, checkout applies your voucher credit for you and shows Voucher credit applied.
    4. Choose a method under Choose Payment Method.
    5. For a card, click Continue to payment, enter your card details, then click Pay. For Apple Pay or Google Pay, use the wallet’s own button instead.

Every payment method adds a processing fee, charged only on the part you don’t pay with voucher credit. If voucher credit covers the whole order, there’s no processing fee. Some categories have their own fee, so check the order summary, which shows it before you pay.

    Receive and check the account

After payment you land on the order. You can find it again under Purchases.

    • Instant delivery: click Reveal Credentials on the Account Credentials card.
    • Manual delivery: the seller sends the login in the order chat and marks the order as delivered.

    Then:

    1. Sign in with the details you received.
    2. Check the account matches the listing: level, rank, items, platform and region.
    3. Sign in to the linked email, if the listing includes one.
    4. Change the account password and the email password. Turn on two-factor authentication where the game allows it.
    5. Click Mark as Received and tick the boxes in the confirmation.
Never mark the order as received before you have checked the account, even if the seller asks you to. The seller is paid when the order completes.

If you don’t confirm, the order is marked received when your check time ends. The order page shows the date next to Will be marked Received:.

    Go to Purchases

    If something is wrong

While you’re checking the account, raise a dispute from the order page. For an instant-delivery account, select Contact seller first. After the order is received, use Contact support and our team opens a dispute for you. Don’t play on, resell or change the account while a dispute is open.

If the seller doesn’t deliver within the delivery time, you can cancel the order instead. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.

Not yourself, but the account stays protected until the date on your order page. Contact support in that time and our team can open a dispute for you.

Each order is for one account. If the listing shows more than one in stock, place another order for the next one. Each account comes with its own order and buyer protection.

Everything you need to own the account: the login and, if the listing has a linked email, the login for that email. Every account on PlayerBay is sold with full email access.

Not directly. Redeem them for a voucher on your Rewards page and activate it. Checkout then applies the voucher credit automatically, and you pay any amount left with another method. See Sand Dollars and vouchers.

  • How to receive your order

After you pay, your order opens under Purchases. Instant accounts, keys and gift cards show the login or code on the order page right away. Other orders are delivered by the seller, who uses the order chat and then marks the order as delivered. Check everything, then click Mark as Received. If you don’t, it’s marked received by itself when your check time ends.

    Find your order

After payment you’re taken to the order page. To open it later, go to Purchases and select the order.

    Go to Purchases

    How you receive it

    Order type Where it arrives
Account with instant delivery The Account Credentials card on the order page. Click Reveal Credentials. Each value, such as the login, password and email details, has its own copy button.
Game key The order page. Click Reveal Key.
Gift card The order page. Click Reveal Code.
Everything else The seller delivers by hand and keeps you posted in the order chat.

For orders the seller delivers by hand, the order chat starts with the delivery details you gave at checkout. Passwords are hidden there. While the seller works on it, the order shows Seller is preparing your delivery and the time left.

For an instant order, use Contact Seller on the order page if you need the seller.

Sometimes we run a quick safety check on a payment before delivery. The order page says so, and delivery continues once the check clears.

    Confirm the order

    1. Check that you received everything the listing promised. For an account, sign in and secure it first.
    2. Click Mark as Received.
    3. For an account, tick the boxes in Order received confirmation, then confirm.

Confirming marks the order received. It stays protected after that, but you can no longer raise a dispute yourself: contact support from the order page if something goes wrong.

Never confirm early, even if the seller asks you to.

Your check time and buyer protection

If you don’t confirm, the order is marked received when your check time ends. The order page shows the date next to Will be marked Received:. After that it shows Protected until and the date protection ends.

    If something goes wrong

    • Not delivered in time: once the delivery time has passed, cancel the order for a refund. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.
    • Delivered but wrong: raise a dispute from the order page before your check time ends. For instant-delivery accounts and gift cards, select Contact seller first. See How disputes work.

Don’t confirm. Message the seller, and if it isn’t sorted, raise a dispute and choose “Order was not received”.

The order is marked received when your check time ends, and completes when protection ends. If you haven’t left a review by then, a positive review is added for the seller.

  • Currency and item delivery methods

How your order arrives depends on the seller’s delivery method. On top-up pages you choose the method in the Delivery method row. On currency and item listings, the seller’s Delivery instructions or description say how they deliver. Whatever the method, keep all messages in the order chat and confirm the order only once everything has arrived.

    Where to see the method

    • Top-ups: when a game offers more than one method, pick it in the Delivery method row. Read more about delivery explains each one.
    • Currency: read the offer’s Delivery instructions.
    • Items: read the listing description. Item listings show Manual Delivery and the seller’s delivery time.

    Currency methods

    Method What you do
In-game trade Share your character name and server in the order chat. Meet the seller in game, accept the trade and check the amount before confirming the trade.
Mail trade Share your character name and server. The seller sends the currency to your in-game mailbox. Collect it, then confirm the order.
Auction house List a low-value item at the price the seller asks for. The seller buys it and the payment reaches you through the game. Don’t change the item or price after you’ve agreed.
Login delivery Add your login at checkout. The seller signs in once and adds the currency. Change your password afterwards.
Island delivery Share your in-game name. Visit the seller’s island or invite them to yours, pick up the items, then confirm.
Epic gifting Share your Epic display name and accept the seller’s friend request. The seller gifts your purchase once Epic allows gifting between you, which takes 48 hours of being friends.
Game pass Create a game pass at the price the seller tells you and share its link in the order chat. See How to create a Roblox game pass.

    Top-up methods

    Method What you do
Login top up Add your login at checkout. The seller signs in once and buys the top-up in the official in-game store. Change your password afterwards.
UID top up Add your player ID (UID) at checkout. The seller sends the top-up to that account. You don’t share your login.
Redeem code Take the code from your order page and enter it in the game’s redeem or gift code section.
Donation Share your username or player ID and accept the seller’s friend request. The seller gifts the top-up once the game allows it, usually 24 to 48 hours after you become friends.

    Item delivery

Item sellers deliver by hand, usually by trading in game or sending the item to your account. Checkout asks for what the seller needs, such as your character name or a Steam trade URL. Then follow the seller’s instructions in the order chat. See How to find your Steam trade URL.

Keep every message and arrangement in the PlayerBay order chat. If something goes wrong, our team can only review what happened there.

    Before you pay

    • Read the delivery instructions and make sure you can do what the method asks.
    • Check your character name, server, region and IDs at checkout. A typo can delay delivery.
    • Be ready to reply in the order chat if the seller needs to meet you.
Arrange everything in the order chat. You can trade in game, but the messages that set it up belong in the chat.
  • The delivery details checkout asks for

Some orders need details from you before the seller can deliver, such as your character name, player ID or a login. Checkout asks for them under Enter Delivery Details, and you can’t pay until the required fields are filled in. We remember most details for next time, but never your password, which is encrypted and deleted when the order ends.

    Why we ask

The seller needs to know where to deliver. A currency trade needs your character and server, a top-up needs your player ID, and a login top-up needs your account login. Each game and delivery method asks only for what it needs. Product pages don’t ask for anything; checkout is the only place you enter these details.

    Common details

    Field What to enter
Character name, Username The name of the character that should receive the order, exactly as it appears in game.
User ID, Server ID Your player ID and server, usually on your in-game profile.
Roblox username Your Roblox username, not your display name.
Battle.net Tag Your tag with its number, like Name#1234.
Steam trade URL Your full Steam trade link. See How to find your Steam trade URL.
Account email, Account password The login for your game account, for methods where the seller signs in to deliver.

Checkout checks each field’s format. For example, a Steam trade URL must be a Steam trade link, and most text fields don’t accept the symbols , : ;.

    Your password is sealed

    • It’s encrypted as soon as it’s saved to the order.
    • Only the seller of that order and our team can open it, and only while the order is being delivered or is in a dispute.
    • It’s never shown in the order chat, saved to your cart or remembered for your next order.
    • It’s deleted from the order when the order is received, refunded or cancelled.
After a seller signs in to your account to deliver, change your password.

    Saved for next time

When you fill in a field, we save it to your account. The next checkout that asks for the same field fills it in for you. Your password is the exception: you type it each time.

In a cart, items from the same game that need the same details share one form. Click Use different details for each item to fill them in separately.

    After you pay

The order chat opens with your delivery details so the seller can start. Passwords appear hidden. If you made a mistake, tell the seller in the order chat right away.

A required delivery field is empty or in the wrong format. Checkout shows “Please complete the delivery details above before choosing a payment method.” Fix the highlighted field and try again.

Your login is only used for that order, and the password is sealed as described above. If you’d rather not share it, choose a method that only needs your player ID, where the game offers one.

  • Buying several items with the cart

Click Add to cart on any offer, from as many sellers as you like, then open the cart and click Proceed to Checkout. You enter delivery details once per game and pay for everything in one payment. Each item then becomes its own order, delivered by its own seller and covered by buyer protection on its own.

    Add items to your cart

    1. On an offer, choose the quantity or amount, then click Add to cart. You need to be signed in.
    2. Repeat for anything else you want, from any seller.
    3. Open Cart at the top of the page to see everything, change quantities or remove items.

If an item sells out or its listing is taken down, it’s removed from your cart and the cart tells you.

    Check out

    1. In the cart, click Proceed to Checkout (or Go to Checkout in the side panel).
    2. Fill in Enter Delivery Details. Items from the same game that need the same details share one form, shown as the game and the number of items.
    3. To give one item different details, click Use different details for each item.
    4. Choose a payment method, then pay once for the whole cart. If you have active vouchers, your voucher credit is applied first and you pay the rest.

The percentage part of the processing fee applies to each item. The fixed part is charged once for the whole cart and shared across the orders. Some categories have their own processing fee. The summary shows the total fee before you pay.

    After you pay

Each item becomes a separate order. You’ll find them all under Purchases.

    • Each seller delivers their own order, with its own order chat and delivery time.
    • You mark each order as received on its own.
    • Buyer protection, disputes and overdue cancellations apply to each order separately. A problem with one order doesn’t affect the others.
If an item sells out while your payment is going through, the whole payment is refunded and none of the orders go through. You can then check out again without that item.
    Go to Purchases

No. You pay the fixed part of the processing fee once for the whole cart, so one cart costs less than separate orders.

Accounts, keys and gift cards are one per order, so each can be in your cart once. When it’s already there, the button says In cart and opens your cart.

Each order follows the normal rules. If its seller misses the delivery time, you can cancel that order for a refund. See Cancelling an order the seller didn’t deliver.
