  • How to withdraw your earnings

Once your sales complete and their protection period ends, the money shows as Available to Withdraw in your wallet. Open the Balance Overview tab, select Withdraw Earnings, pick a method and one of your saved payout wallets, and submit. Our team reviews every withdrawal, and you get an email when it’s processed or rejected.

    Withdrawal methods

The fee comes out of the amount you withdraw. The form shows the fee and the amount you receive before you submit. Methods paid in another currency (euros, Bitcoin, USDC or your local currency) are converted from USD when the payout is processed.

    Request a withdrawal

    1. Open your wallet and select the Balance Overview tab.
    2. In Seller Earnings, select Withdraw Earnings. The button appears once you have money available to withdraw.
    3. Choose a method under Select a withdrawal option.
    4. Enter the Withdrawal amount (USD).
    5. Under Payout wallet, pick one of your saved wallets. The first time, select Add a payout wallet and fill in the details the method asks for, such as your Payoneer email, IBAN or wallet address.
    6. Check the fee and You receive amount, then select Submit Withdrawal.
    7. If we ask you to Confirm it’s you, use your passkey, 2FA code, password or a code we email you. Signing in counts for an hour.

    Payout wallets

    • You can save up to 7 payout wallets. A saved wallet can’t be edited: remove it and add a new one.
    • A new wallet can be used 24 hours after you add it, and we email you whenever a wallet is added or removed. If someone ever gets into your account, they can’t add their own wallet and withdraw at once, and you hear about it.
    • Adding or removing a wallet also asks you to confirm it’s you.
    Open your wallet
Check your payout details before you submit. A wrong email, IBAN or wallet address can delay the payout or send it somewhere you can’t recover it from. For USDC, use an address that supports ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum.

    After you submit

    • The request shows as Pending in your transaction history, and its amount is set aside from your available balance.
    • Our team reviews it. Large withdrawals need a second staff member’s approval, which can add time.
    • When it’s processed, you get an email and a notification with the amount and fee.
    • If it’s rejected, the email gives the reason and the full amount goes back to your available balance. You can submit a new request with corrected details.

To cancel a pending withdrawal, contact us. You can’t cancel one yourself.

    What you can withdraw

Only seller earnings can be withdrawn. Sand Dollars and vouchers are buyer rewards, kept separate from your earnings, and can’t be withdrawn.

Earnings from an order become available after the order completes and its buyer protection period ends. Money in an open dispute or chargeback is held until that’s resolved. See When your earnings become available.

If you see Payouts on hold — contact support instead of the button, our team has paused payouts on your account. See Payout holds.

You have no money available to withdraw yet, or your payouts are on hold. Your Seller Earnings card shows what’s pending and what’s held.

Your bank or payout provider can charge its own receiving or conversion fees. For SWIFT transfers, ask your bank what it charges.

  • When your earnings become available

You’re paid for a sale in three stages. After you deliver, the money shows as Pending while the buyer checks the order. When the order is received, the sale is recorded with your fee taken out and held for the protection period. When that ends, the order completes and the money moves to Available to Withdraw. A dispute or chargeback holds it until it’s settled.

    From delivery to withdrawal

    1. Pending: you’ve delivered and the buyer is checking the order. Your order page shows The buyer is checking the order. Marked as received: and the date.
    2. Held (Warranty): the order is received, either because the buyer selected Mark as received or automatically when the check ended. The sale is recorded and held for the protection period, counted from that day. Your order page shows Funds release: and the date.
    3. Available to Withdraw: protection has ended and the order is complete. You can request a payout.

Your wallet’s Balance Overview tab shows each of these amounts in the Seller Earnings card.

    See your earnings

How long the protection period is

The period depends on the product type and the game. The order keeps the period that applied when it was placed.

    Faster payouts for established sellers

If you sell a lot with few cancellations, your new orders of currency, items, top-ups and keys skip the protection period: the earnings become available as soon as the order is received. Accounts, gift cards and games with their own protection period always keep it.

We check who qualifies every day. Orders keep the rule that applied when they were placed, so qualifying or dropping out never changes an order already in progress.

    Disputes

If the buyer opens a dispute, the sale’s earnings move to Held (Disputes) until it’s resolved:

    • Resolved in your favor, or the buyer accepts a replacement: the earnings stay held until the order’s protection period ends, then become available.
    • Partial refund: your share is reduced by the refunded part and held until the protection period ends.
    • Full refund: the sale is cancelled and you’re not paid for it.

See Disputes for sellers for how to respond.

    Chargebacks

A chargeback is when the buyer asks their bank to reverse a card payment. While one is open, the sale’s earnings are held and the buyer can’t also get a refund on PlayerBay. When the bank decides:

    • Decided in PlayerBay’s favor: your earnings are released.
    • Lost, on an order you had delivered: you keep the sale. PlayerBay covers the loss.
    • Lost, on an order you hadn’t delivered or that was in a dispute: the sale is reversed.
If an order shows “Order paused for review”, don’t deliver, on PlayerBay or anywhere else. The payment is being checked, and our team either clears the order or refunds it.

Pending shows the order amount before your seller fee. The fee is taken out when the order completes.

Yes. The protection period starts when the order is received, so a buyer who confirms quickly starts the clock sooner.

  • Payout holds

A payout hold pauses withdrawals from your account while our team reviews something on it. Nothing is taken from your balance: your earnings keep building and stay yours. While the hold is on you can’t request a withdrawal, and pending requests wait. Contact support to find out why and what’s needed to lift it.

    How you know

In your wallet’s Balance Overview tab, the Seller Earnings card shows Payouts on hold — contact support in place of the Withdraw Earnings button.

    Open your wallet

    What a hold does

    • You can’t submit new withdrawal requests.
    • Requests you submitted before the hold stay pending. Our team can’t pay them until the hold is lifted.
    • Your balance isn’t changed. Sales, fees and protection periods work as usual.
    • Your listings, orders and messages aren’t affected by a payout hold.

    How to get it lifted

    1. Select Payouts on hold — contact support in your wallet, or go to the contact page.
    2. Choose Selling and payouts and ask about the payout hold.
    3. Send what our team asks for.

When our team lifts the hold, the Withdraw Earnings button comes back and pending requests can be processed. We reply within 2 days, often sooner.

Other reasons money can be held

A payout hold covers your whole account. Holds on single sales are different: earnings wait for the buyer protection period, and a dispute or chargeback holds that sale until it’s settled. See When your earnings become available.

  • Seller fees and tiers

PlayerBay takes a seller fee from each sale. The rate depends on what you sell, the game and your seller tier, which is set each month from last month’s completed sales. The current rates are in the table below. The fee comes out of the item price, so the buyer never sees it.

    Current seller fees

The rate is fixed when the buyer places the order. A tier change or a fee change later doesn’t alter orders already placed.

    How the fee is taken

When an order completes, the sale is added to your earnings with the fee already taken out. The buyer’s processing fee is separate: the buyer pays it, and it never reduces your earnings.

Withdrawing has its own fee, set by the payout method. See Withdrawing your earnings.

    How seller tiers work

    • Monthly evaluation: your tier is set at the start of each month from last month’s completed sales volume. It stays fixed for the whole month.
    • Upgrades: reach a higher tier’s threshold in a month and you move up at the start of the next month.
    • Demotion protection: you move down only after missing your tier’s threshold two months in a row.

Your Seller Tier page shows your current tier, this month’s volume and how far you are from the next tier.

    View your seller tier

    Founders Program

Founders never drop below Tier 2 rates, whatever their monthly volume. The program has a fixed number of places, and our team grants founder status. If you’re a founder, your Seller Tier page shows a Founder badge.

    Fee waivers

When seller fees are waived, for every seller or for your shop, the fee on new orders is 0%. A waiver applies to orders placed while it’s on.

Some games have their own rate, set for that game’s market. Those rates are listed on the fees page.

No. The seller fee is a share of the item price. The processing fee is a separate charge the buyer pays at checkout.
