How we write PlayerBay guides
PlayerBay is a marketplace for game accounts, currency, items and top-ups. Our blog helps players get more out of their games, and helps buyers make safe, informed purchases.
Who writes them. Every article names its author, and each author has a profile page listing the games they cover. Our writers play the games they write about.
How we check guides. We test methods, routes and builds in the game before publishing. Numbers such as experience rates, drop rates and gold per hour come from our own testing or are linked to their source. When a game update changes something, we update the article and show the date it was last updated at the top.
Codes. We list only codes we’ve checked, and we remove expired codes when we find them. A codes page shows the date we last checked it; we don’t change that date unless we checked again.
Prices. Prices and offer counts shown in our articles come live from PlayerBay’s listings when the page loads. They aren’t typed in by hand, so they can change.
Our marketplace. PlayerBay earns money when you buy through the marketplace. Articles link to listings that match what the article is about. That never changes what we recommend: if the best option is to play for it yourself, we say so. We aren’t affiliated with the game developers or publishers we write about; all game names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Corrections. Spotted something wrong or out of date? Tell us through our contact page and we’ll fix it, noting the change if it affects advice you may have followed.
